In early April, Tampa Electric (TECO) filed a rate case to increase rates by approximately $20/mo in the new year. The Hillsborough Affordable Energy Coalition has been asking Commissioner Myers to help with skyrocketing electricity bills by opposing TECO rate hikes and working to pass a countywide Affordable Energy and Climate Plan.
